The Peak District is one of the latter areas to be added to the Walking Englishman. This popular park has always taken a place down the pecking order behind the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District mainly because both the Dales and the Lakes are closer to home.

Formed in March 2004, we are a Lincolnshire group of the Ramblers aimed for people in their 20's, 30's and 40's.

LINCOLNSHIRE WOLDS AONB
This is a wonderful area of countryside with some of the most beautiful, unspoilt scenery in the East Midlands. There are rolling hills and hidden valleys, gentle streams and nestling villages. The Lincolnshire Wolds is the highest land in eastern England between Kent and Yorkshire – there are fine views to the Pennines in the west, and the coast to the east.

A group of people in their 20s, 30s and 40s, from in and around Northamptonshire, who enjoy walking, scrambling, climbing and generally having a bit of fun.

THE NOTTINGHAM WAYFARERS RAMBLING CLUB
This Nottingham based Rambling Club offers walks under the guidance of experienced leaders, mainly in the Derbyshire Peak District, but also on occasions in Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. Walks are usually held on a Sunday, very often with different grades of walk to choose from.
